Dr. Wassif was born in Giza, Egypt. After obtaining his Bachelor’s of Dental surgery degree from college of Dentistry, Sixth of October University in Egypt, Dr. Wassif was able to pursue his love of dentistry within the United States and came here in 2006 to attend University of The Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctorate degree in Dental Surgery. He then completed general practice residency at Brookdale Hospital, in Brooklyn, Dr. Wassif maintains active memberships in several medical societies, including the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Eastern Long Island Dental Implant Study Club.
Since I was young I had a dream to work in a profession that deals mainly with people, to help, comfort and relieve pain. Because I enjoy drawing, carving and working with my hands, I was seeking a ‘hands-on’ profession. Hence Dentistry became my profession of choice as it combines both art and science. I always knew that you can dramatically change a person’s life by changing his or her smile.
